NEW!!! Purex Crystals Aromatherapy

Let me tell you about a new product called "Purex Crystals Aromatherapy".  These laundry crystals were created to help you "express your mood with each unique aroma".

There are three different scents:  Energy, Well Being and Serenity.

I was given a bottle of the Energy scent free for purposes of a review by Purex Insiders.  I was not asked to review a certain way, all of the opinions expressed in this post are my own.

Since that is out of the way, let's get down to the Purex Crystals.  :)

I was super excited to learn that I had been chosen to review a bottle of Purex Crystals, I love these things. I want my laundry to smell clean for weeks and I've always had amazing luck with Crystals.  There is just something about opening up your closet doors and getting a whiff of fragrance.  :)

So, I rec'd my Purex Insiders box in the mail and here is what I got...

I opened up the bottle expecting an "orange" scent because that is what is pictured on the bottle. Unfortunately, that is not what I got at all.  I can't really describe the scent other than it is kind of an earthy smell.  I was not impressed with it.  I was actually kind of disappointed because I have always liked Purex Crystals scents and I've tried just about all of them.  I will say that once the laundry was washed and dried, the smell was not as overpowering as it was when I poured it into the washer.  

With all that being said, I will finish using the bottle.  It isn't a horrible smell, just not something I would chose again.  I'll be keeping an eye out at the local Wal-Mart for the other two scents.  

I love Purex Crystals and will continue using them......maybe just not this particular aroma.  :)

I also found another perfect use for these dryer sheets.  I love to shop at my local Goodwill and score many fabulous deals there!  I found a purse that I absolutely fell in love with and had to have!  It looked brand new!  No stains, no rips, it was perfect......or so I thought!  Once I got it home, I realized that whoever had it before me must have been a pretty heavy smoker.  I could not stand the smell of the inside of the purse.  What did I do?  I grabbed a Purex Crystals Dryer Sheet for each pocket and stuffed them inside.  Let me tell you, it made a WORLD of difference.  Now my purse that looks new, smells new!  What a lifesave!  :)

I can't wait to try the other scent that is available:  Lavendar Blossom!

NEW! Purex No Sort for Colors Detergent

Do you ever get tired of sorting laundry? 

I know I do!!  My rule of thumb for years has been that if it looks like it won't fade, I'm washing it all together!  I abhor doing laundry...I despise doing laundry....if I had all kinds of money, I would never do laundry again!  I would just buy new clothes and throw away the old ones!  LOL!

Well guess what?!  Purex has come through for all of us laundry sorting haters!

NEW! Purex Crystals Limited Edition Fabulously Fresh

Once again it is FABULOUS being a Purex Insiders!  I was one of the lucky ones that got to be the first to try Purex Crystals Limited Edition Fabulously Fresh. 

Let me tell you I love all of the Purex Crystals scents, so I was super excited to get to try the new product.  These crystals refresh your laundry and the scent really lasts.  Added bonus:  It also gives your laundry room a fresh, clean smell!  :)  This new scent, Fabulously Fresh, is fabulously AWESOME!  I do believe it is my favorite of all.  I hope they make this a permanent edition instead of just a limited one!  I will be sure to add this on to the list of my permanent products!

I use this product in every load I do.  It is safe for all loads, including children's sleepwear.  I have a 2 year old son, so that part is very important.  I've been using Purex Crystals on his clothes for over a year now and he has never had a single reaction to them.  I love being able to wash his clothes in a product that smells wonderful and has no side effects!

If you love the smell of fresh Spring flowers, you will love new Purex Crystals Limited Edition Fabulously Fresh!  It is also very pretty in a Spring Green color.  :)

I have also discovered that you do not have to use an entire capful to get that beautiful smell to last in your laundry.  This is just a tad over half a capful and it worked wonders on my clothes.  I love pulling a shirt out of the closet a couple of weeks after washing it and still smelling the Purex Crystals!  :)

Target Spring Preview Voxbox

I was extremely excited to get chosen for the Target Spring Preview Voxbox!  I love being a part of Influenster & getting to try out cool products!  However this Voxbox left me disappointed.  When I received it in the mail, I could not wait to open.  I was a little disappointed by the size of the box.  It's advert small & looked nothing like what it was advertised to look like.  I was even further disappointed by what I found inside.. Sonia Kashuk lipstick in "Classic Red". Boo!  I am one of those blonde, blue-eyed girls that can NOT wear red lipstick.  It looked absolutely horrible on me!  Wash out city!!  The texture of the lipstick was good & the color seemed to glide on well, but I did not wear it long enough to see how well it lasts.  Sorry Influenster & Target, I was not a good choice for this box!  Thank you, though!

NEW! Dial Deep Cleansing Hand Soap

You have GOT to try Dial's new Deep Cleansing Hand Soap!!  It is AWESOME! 

I was super excited to receive my free Dial Deep Cleansing Hand Soap in the mail!  Always a wonderful day when the Purex Insiders box shows up at my house! 

I was surprised to find two different scents to try.  I guess I thought I would just be getting one, but nope Purex Insiders delivered!

I received the Yellow Raspberry & Black Sugar and the Coconut Lime Verbena to try.  I was a little sceptical of the Yellow Raspberry soap, something about the name just did not appeal to me.  However, I was pleasantly surprised!  It smells wonderful!  The Coconut Lime is awesome, too!  I love both!  I will be heading to the store to get me a bottle of the Water Blossoms, because I just gotta try that one, too! 

Dial soap is fabulous anyways, we already used the regular Dial Anitbacterial soap.  I am always on the look out for new scents to try.  So, believe me, I was beyond thrilled to get this product for review. 

Now a little bit about the soap, these soaps have little micro-scrubber beads to clean, smooth and moisturize your hands.  I work at a hospital and our soap at work has tons of alcohol in it, so it is very tough on your hands, especially in the winter time.  The very first time I tried this soap, I was pleased to see how smooth it left my hands.  I mean, it was the VERY FIRST TIME I used it.  I figured it would take a little bit of use to see a difference, but it did not.  I will definitely be using this soap for a long time!

I received some free coupons for a give away with this trial, but I did not recieve my box until a few days ago.  So, I am unable to do a drawing on my blog.  However, I did want to spread the wealth around, so I shared my coupons with co-workers.  They were as excited to try Dial Deep Cleansing Hand Soap as I was!  One co-worker went the day I handed her the coupon and got her soap!  She chose the Coconut Lime Verbena and loves it just as much as I did.  She couldn't believe how soft it left her hands.
